Other Area Guides
These are two of my other recommendations for an action packed day, if I am unavailable. There are several other great guides in this area that I can contact for you as well. I will not recommend someone that will not get the job done right!
Bryon Cole
Ben has 9 years experience on these waters, and a keen sense for finding fish. I have never seen a guest return from an expedition with him unsatisfied. You may have read an article by Ben in your favorite fishing magazine, as he is making his mark as a renowned outdoor writer. Maybe you'll be featured in his next article!
Bryon is the gentle giant of fishing. He has over 20 years experience on area lakes, and never comes home unsuccessful. Silent but deadly is the only way I can descibe his skills. This man has the drive to put you on the fish no matter what it takes! Fish fear Bryon.
Walleye
Here are some of the big Walleye pics from my 2011 open water trips. Not pictured here are the high numbers of slot size and under walleye that we weed through to get pics like these. 100 plus fish mornings are common here.
Northern Pike
Many of my Walleye fishermen also target their pike. All of the Pike between 27.5 and 35.5 inches are released here. The results; great action and many trophies. I know how to put my guests on Pike!
Musky
Here's some great 2011 muskies, the majority of my time is spent guiding walleye. For the bit of musky chances I now get, the success ratio is pretty high! Take an evening trip...you'll see!
Lake Trout
On the whole the lake and speckled trout fishing was very good in 2011. I managed to get these nice shots from a very small percentage of my time spent on this species
Smallmouth Bass
This area has so many under-fished smallmouth, many times you don't even need to target them. Half of the following 2011 pics are accidental catches, and these are only the big bass! This is world class smallmouth fishing!
